I guess being on the other side of the world,i wouldnt noe if ure place is beautiful or not but im sure it is in some special kind of way.

yes sunsets are beautiful and the great thing about my place is that theres not alot of tall buildings so when the sun sets,we can have the perfect view of the sunset happening.

do u noe where i live btw?

i just recently finished my Advance levels and am applying to various universities home and abroad but hoping that i can continue my studies in the UK.

hahha it does?hahaha yeah Kuala belait is a small district in Brunei but its the most important one as well because ALL of Brunei's wealth come from the production of oil and gas under the Royal Dutch oil company, Shell.

Cambridge is a place where all the top top top students go to and even i realistically wont get a chance to go there, maybe Leeds or Liverpool to pursue my Project management course.

What i want to do is be an important part in my countrys development but what i want in life is to live by the beach happily without any care of the material world.

Thanks for the kind comments, I still think that your area have beautiful sunsets, i can imagine my self lying on tht green grass pasture as i look up to the sky as it turns orange.

My pictures are all about what captures the attention of my eyes, be it while driving during sundown.

Yea in goin to monash uni this comming june, well if it was up to me, i would want to end up in Oman just to be with my ex. sigh long story short, her dad got posted there a few years ago so yea. Oh well one must move forward and not get stuck in the past..; May 19, 2008 at 7:14 AM

hahah well im more of a lazy person to go out and explore at 8pm the various places where i can take good pictures of the sunset and trust me, Melbourne weather is so crazy,we experience all 4 seasons in a day from beautiful sunny weather to 5 mins later cold winter.

its the summer now and i heard the sun is gona set at around 9pm also in the future. haha sorry to hear ure grandparents in tht situation,hope they managed to cope with it

the people i shot tagged? well normally the people i take pics of are random people and very rarely i use my friends as subjects tht can compliments the scene. but normally if i do use my friends,i would post a thank u message to them in the same post.

and how do i deal with vacations here?well its been 6 months here and i actually went back to brunei a few weeks ago for my short hols. never did got the chance to fully explore the outbacks of melbourne but if i do,im sure its gona be great coz this place is truely a beautiful place to live in,minus the flies tht comes out in swarms during the summer hhaha

How to Hotwire a Car

This is a step by step guide to hotwiring a car. Hot-wiring is absolutely illegal without the owner's permission, unless the car is being repossessed. There is a huge risk of electrical shock while hot-wiring, and it may not work in many cases. Some newer model cars have the required components hidden so you can't reach them. Others have "kill switches," which shut down the engine so that it cannot be started, even with the key. Older model cars, like any gas-guzzler from 2004 down, will work. So will some hybrid and electric cars.

Steps

Method 1

Open the hood.
Locate the red coil wire. Both the plug and coil wires are located at the rear of almost all V-8 engines. Four-cylinder engines have them placed on the right side, near the center of the engine. Six-cylinder engines are the opposite: left side, near the center of the engine.
Locate the battery (it's the thing that looks like a battery).
Run a wire from the positive side of the battery (not negative!) to either the positive side of the coil, or the red wire that leads to the coil. This will give power to the dashboard, which is essential if you ever want it to start.
Locate the starter solenoid. On Fords, it is on the passenger-side fender well, near the battery. On GMs, it is on the starter under the steering wheel.
If under the steering wheel, enter the car without setting off any alarms. If it has standard transmission, make sure the car is in neutral and the parking brake is on.
Unlock the steering wheel by taking a flat blade screwdriver and placing it at the top center of the steering column. Push the screwdriver between the wheel and the column, then push the locking pin away from the wheel. Don't worry, you're allowed to be rough here. The locking pin will not break or set off any alarms. The solenoid should be underneath.
You will see a small wire at the top of the solenoid and the positive battery cable below. Cross the two different terminal that they are connected to with a screwdriver or pliers. This will crank the engine, giving you leave to drive. Congratulations.

Method 2

Enter car. Do not break into a car unless you own it and have documentation to prove it. Be aware that forced entry will set an intrusion alarm off if the vehicle is so equipped.
Determine if the steering column and gear selector can be overridden, if so equipped. Serious damage to the shifting mechanism and/or steering column will result in forcing these theft deterrant mechanisms in an attempt to override them.
Look under steering wheel. This may require taking an access cover off. These are usually held in place with concealed clips or #2 Phillips type screws. Remove if needed.
See if there is a clip or wiring harness connector in which you can gain access to the wires behind the ignition.
Look for the two wires that are the same, usually red and strip them and twist them together. One of these will be the primary power supply for the ignition switch, the other will be the connection for the vehicles electrical circuits that are energised when the key is turn to the run position. Connecting these will provide electricity for the ignition components, so the engine is able to run when the starter is turned.
Strip about 1 inch of insulation from this pair of wires, and twist them tightly together. Wrap with electrician's tape if available, and do not allow them to short against metal vehicle components.
Get the ignition wire, brown in many cars, strip it about 1/2 inch, and touch the end of the stripped brown wire with the connected red wires.
Do not twist the brown wire to the reds, just touch the wires until ignition has been achieved.
Rev the engine enough so you don't stall and have to do this process again.

Tips

Use this knowledge responsibly.
Vehicles with a computer chip in the ignition switch cannot be hot wired, the chip enables the ECM to function, and without it, the car will not run.
You risk causing significant damage to your vehicle if you hotwire it.
Never leave the ignition wires twisted together when you finish running the engine. This can burn up the ignition system of the vehicle, and will at least discharge the battery.

Warnings

If the ignition wires seperate while driving, the engine will instantly die, and you may find yourself without power, steering, or brakes.
BIG chance of getting arrested and charged if used illegally.

I also believe that if someone can master a language, the universe itself is spread bare, all the sounds, smells, and sights at their command.

People say technology is great. The internet, cell phone, all these advances of the past twenty years connecting anyone to everyone in a blink of an eye. We get hourly broadcasts of places oceans and continents away; chat rooms connect groups from Algeria to Japan; videoconferences are all the rage in the race of globalization. Everything is portable and small and abridged, to make it capable of whisking from one side of the world to the other in much less than a second. In other words, the technology of our fast and efficient world has sprouted from our forefather’s dreams.

I have a computer program that allows me to call any phone over the internet, or with Wi-fi if it’s more convenient. Cellphones can take pictures and let you text friends you don’t want to talk to directly. Ipods and mp3 players bring anything from music and the time in Singapore to the latest movies. Shopping is easy on the computer – a click of the mouse and you’re in Sears, or Abercrombie and Fitch. It seems like technology has the power to bring the world to our outstretched hands, but the truth is, language is the compulsive force behind all of these things. In fact, language is the force behind society as a whole, everywhere and unnoticed, because many people take it for granted.

Language connects us to all the other people that exist with a bond that is stronger than anything else in the world. It gives us – and everyone who can speak or write – the amazing ability to understand. And that is not a thing to be taken lightly.

Understanding is essential to a life that means something. See, language separates us from all the other species on this planet. It allows us to understand, and it allows us to describe anything that we wish, so that other people too can understand our personal experiences. Without it, people would be bereft of all emotions but their own. Worse yet, there would be no point to this endless wandering in life. All abstracts – love, God, hope, truth – anything not immediately solid and in front of us would be impossible to know or comprehend. Only the basic necessities to survival would be there, and what a life that would be! Do we think that people in comas live as good a life as us or live as fully? Of course not! They can’t experience or feel, not that we can tell, and so we label them, describe them, and after the shock of their emotionless, hopeless life, we go and feel for them, a mixture of pity and sorrow. And the thing is, none of it would be possible if we didn’t know how to identify with the rest of the world, with our language.

We wouldn’t know if we felt or experienced the intangible, until we can name it and define it in words and thoughts. The power of language – which gives us understanding and expression – is the power of all people, and the power of you and I.
