sunrise, sunset...sunrise, sunset...

hello...
first of all, a happy chinese new year to all! 恭喜發財!

and my birthday is coming up! Coupled with the snow day yesterday, and it looks like the upcoming year is going to be very, very FUN!!

The following are some sunsets from the front of my house...they were taken in the fall/winter.

THEY'RE all pretty colors...

Except this one ;)

The day I took this picture, the clouds were in line upon line on line, and it looked pretty cool, except for the dull sky...

emanating yellow glow...weird.

I adore the contrast of black and golden-browns :P

final Lion King-esque sunset...

on the topic of lions, here's one from the MKE zoo ^_^ so random...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Okay, these are from the back of my house (mostly), of sunrises...
THE following are from the same day, I think in december, that I missed the bus for...hehe, wayyy more important!
THIS is from near the local Kohl's clothing store...there's a small pond with nesting Canadian geese all the time...you can see the tail of some plane that flew toward the sun :)
and as a testament to the past fall...
I love trees...^_^
恭喜發財
yay !
this moment seems so long
Guiliani doesn't know how to campaign.
He spent 40 million on Florida and came in dead third, without even showing in the other primaries.
That is a ton of money. And time. WASTED.
Then he goes and gives it up, right then and there, without even trying -- though the results did show that he had no chance...
But Guiliani?!? the guy so desparate and confident that the presidancy was all but his?? shows what the world has come too. WHICH in the end is okay, cause he couldn't have won anyhow, with his contradictory policies and base in the imbalanced and changeable voters.
The decline from GOP front-runner to the last in the field -- almost behind ron paul, for god's sake -- was devastating. The only thing that comes outta this will be the polsci discussions in harvard...why didn't it work?
There's always his way-to-young wife and bitter son to consider, too.
I didn't like him anyways.
But super tuesday is today...yay! now the real showdown begins...
McCain leads the republicans, and obama the dems (barely)...but the 22-or-so states up for grabs are not going to be so easily divided, and I cannot wait til I see which states fall for Clinton...I think, maybe, NY will, and that might be the only one.
The problem with Clinton is that she cannot beat McCain; it is this only that makes her presidency impossible.
I don't think she admits to her impending doom at all.
hehe
